I was provided with a simple blanket when I asked for it.

A bit shabby. Bathmat was dirty. Hand soap and shampoo bottles were empty. Rummaged to find something to use. Kitchen chairs wobbled. Smelly on entry. Yard was unkempt.

it would be amazing if there was a stove but it still works out without one and we knew what from the beginning.

Fabulous location very homely stairs & drive kept clear of snow for us. 😁

There was an issue with the heating, however, owner was very responsive and provided 2 heaters.

I arrived around 10.30pm which was pre arranged. Knocked, owner opened the door slightly and told me where to go and said it was late and I didn't see him for the rest of my 3 day visit, even though I knocked a few times for advice on my delayed luggage. On leaving at 8am, I was asked to be quiet by a grumpy lady, even though I was quite. Why rent out your upstairs accommodation if you don't want any movement. She really put a negative result on my stay, which otherwise was probably ok. Be careful of dog shit in the garden entrance. Also no where to sit outside and the stairs is steep.
