"Stylish oasis in great location."

Stylish oasis in great location. A beautiful 18th century building fronting on to a park creates an immediate sense of calm. Inside the owners have done a very stylish renovation keeping original features like the tile floors with modern decor and finishes. Each guest has a one bedroom apartment with very comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and a/c, chic bathroom and then generous kitchen/dining/living area. There is so much to do in Cadiz we didn’t have time to enjoy the roof terrace, but it too looks very welcoming. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and helpful with suggestions for things to do and restaurant bookings. An added bonus was the ability to use the laundry and dryer. Thanks Eric and Vittore.

Casa del Consul! A fabulous find. As other reviewers have stated, Vittore and Eric are charming and welcoming hosts; our room was airy, comfortable and well appointed. The roof terrace is a sanctuary of verdant calm. We couldn't fault it.

"Absolute gem of a property filled with heart and soul"

Eric and Vittorre have created a very special Casa. It is on a beautiful elegant pedestrianised plaza close to everything Cádiz has to offer. The house is impeccable, beautifully designed, retaining the moorish architecture but with lots of modern twists. Our suite was so calm and restful and the bed was ultra comfortable. The bathroom exceptional with a huge spa bath enough for two!

We had to park a little away but it was no bother at all really. It is nice not to have any traffic outside the building to be honest.

"A treasure in Cádiz"

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. It’s in a fabulous location, within walking distance of the train station and close to the main sights, bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. Our hosts, Eric and Vittore have beautifully and thoughtfully renovated their home. They take time to make you feel welcome, giving tips on things to do and restaurants to go to. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, beautifully furnished, I loved all the colour. There’s a gorgeous terrace at the top of the building, which overlooks Plaza de Espana, it’s an oasis of calm, with a plunge pool to cool off in. This really is a special place to stay.
