Huoneisto oli todella hyvällä paikalla. Se oli sisustettu hienoilla elementeillä. Itse avaimien nouto avainlokerosta onnistui helposti, kun ensin löysimme tien rakennuksen parkkipaikalle.

Katutyöt vaikeuttivat huoneiston parkkialueen löytymistä. Ilman ulkopuolisen apua ajaisimme varmaan vieläkin ympyrää lähistöllä. Kahvinkeitin ei toiminut. Huoneiston rappukäytävä ja takaovi olivat aika kamalassa kunnossa, mutta itse huoneisto tosi siisti.

The location is excellent—very close to the city center. Some parts of the apartment have historical charm, and the space itself is quite large. From a price-to-performance perspective, it’s a solid option and could be enjoyable for a short stay.

The apartment felt quite shabby upon closer inspection. While the initial impression was “wow,” that quickly changed. Many details haven’t been maintained: broken floor tiles pose a safety risk, and simply covering them with a mat isn’t enough. It’s clear the apartment has seen heavy use over time and hasn’t been properly cared for. The most disappointing part was seeing the beautiful old tiled furnaces chipped and broken in many places.

Apartment has very central location in Cesis. Easy parking in front of house or in back yard (free of charge). Pedestrian street, food shop and concert hall is in reachable within short walk. Apartment is spacious, beautiful design and comfortable. Great location for weekend travel & stay.

Cesis Concert Hall boutique apartment is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts accommodated one's every wish and were marvelously welcoming, warm, and kind. The designer described to me how the apartment, having belonged to the owner of the entire building, the city's mayor, as legend would have it, is the largest apartment in Cesis. Five fully functioning grand ceramic-tile wood-burning stoves (one with a fireplace) are a marvel. Indeed, two of them are under the protection of the Latvian Heritage Commission. The apartment has been restored with an exquisite sense of style. For instance, the main bedroom's ceiling is reminiscent of those seen in Rundāle castle. The kitchen is pleasingly modern, fully stocked and well-equipped. The underfloor heating is in the dining room, kitchen, and hallway. Having a feel of living in a castle yet being entirely at home is a challenging balance and is a resounding success in this case. Staying in this apartment easily rivals staying in the Four Seasons.

Location - centre of the city. There was a fireplace in the room a dining room was old-fashioned with beautiful painted ceramic tiles. The bed was good, comfortable and big.

The hot water boiler only has enough capacity for two baths. Then you have to wait several hours for the water to heat up. The pans and pots are very old, worn out, the kettle and coffee machine had not been descaled.
