Concert Hall boutique apartment

There is nothing to like about this place, absolutely nothing.

Filth and neglect. Everywhere. That's what you find in this so-called "boutique" apartment. We approached the building from the inner side of the street (parking side), and found a 100-year old building in a state of utter neglect and disrepair. I accompany this review with photos of everything I mention, so you can see for yourself. The building looked so devastating and disgusting that we strongly considered just driving 2 hours to our next stop and skipping Cesis altogether, it was that bad. Eventually, we were extremely tired and decided to stay, but we were not able to use the fridge or the kitchen - everything was grimy and there was black mold in the fridge (see photos). From the inside the apartment was just as bad as from the outside - dirt, dust, mold, broken tile, cracking paint, dents in the walls, and the list goes on and on. Not all the windows could close, and they were last painted before I was born. Now the building looked so frightening that we decided to lock all the locks on the entrance door. But the locks are of the same age as the building, and one of them decided not to open in the morning. We spent about 20 minutes trying to open it, and were on the verge of calling the authorities before the lock finally opened. I am still appaled by all the other reviews of this "boutique" - the only explanation I could plausibly come up with is that they were commissioned by the owner.
