Accommodation Front - The Quays 503 - 6 Sleeper Across the Beachfront

The apartment exceeded our expectations, it was beautiful, spacious and fully equipped as shown in the pictures. It's a stone throw away from the beach with stunning and breath taking views. Will definitely book this place again, highly recommend.

The view, cleanliness and how well the apartment was maintained.

There are times where bad smells emanate around the area. The kitchen in the apartment had cockroaches.

The apartment was average. The only thing standing out was the views of the ocean.

Kitchen was full of cockroaches. I probably killed 50 cockroaches during our 3 night stay. They seemed to be constantly coming out of the corner where the toaster was. They were in all the kitchen cupboards, counter tops and even in the dishwasher. Even though the apartment is fully self-catering, we didn't feel it was safe to cook and consume food there. Some curtains were torn, a few light bulbs weren't working and the showers were dingy. You have to go through the city CBD to get to the apartment, which is very dodgy and dirty. We didn't feel safe driving there at night.

All a bit run down, needs maintenance. A/C not working, but there were fans. Door to balcony very difficult to open. Four slice toaster only working on one side. We had booked for 6 people, but only matching plates, knifes, spoons, mugs for 5. Check-in proccess took too far long, as the R1000 breakage deposit was not on the system and had to be checked by security phoning the company - we had two tired children in the car and the whole experience was very unpleasant. Also the refunding of the R1000 took very long and only happened after sending a few reminders.
