Casa Pacheco

We had an amazing stay at Casa Pacheco. From the moment we walked in, the house smelled so fresh and welcoming. Everything was spotless and very clean. The owner gave us such a warm welcome with fruit, water, coffee and beer waiting for us, which was a lovely touch. Every morning, fresh bread was delivered right to our doorstep. The balcony had a beautiful view and the location was perfect for exploring Furnas. Unfortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights before moving to Sete Cidades, and we were quite disappointed with the other house we booked there because of a strong musty smell 😢 We truly wish we had stayed longer here. Definitely would recommend this accommodation and would happily come back again! ⭐️

Es hat alles gepasst, Pedro hat kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt schon die ersten wichtigen Infos geliefert und war auch im weiteren Verlauf immer mit Rat und Tat dabei. Obwohl es nichts zu korrigieren gab. Aber so Kleinigkeiten, wie z.B. die Klimaanlage anzumachen bevor man da ist, damit man in ein gut temperiertes Apartment kommt, zeigen seine Gastfreundschaft! Das der Kühlschrank mit ein paar Sachen gefüllt ist und es morgens Brötchen gibt, steht schon in den anderen Rezensionen!

The best stay we’ve had in the last year — truly 10/10. Everything was spotless, with exceptional attention to detail. The house had everything we needed, including a yoga mat and a great selection of coffee capsules with different flavors. We especially loved the beautiful balcony overlooking the trees and hills. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners there, and it felt like being surrounded by nature. Every morning, the host provided delicious fresh bread, which was a wonderful touch. The house is conveniently located just a 10–15 minute walk from the thermal baths, and there is also a fresh water spring nearby. Parking was easy as there was always a space available right across the road. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and the lovely memories. The house was incredibly cozy and welcoming.

Not really a downside, just something to keep in mind: the apartment is located on the second floor and in the attic level of the townhouse, so access involves some narrow stairs. For us, this was not an issue at all. The only small improvement we could suggest would be adding a few more shelves or storage spaces for clothes and cosmetics in the living room and bathroom.

Kitchen, deck, location, comfortable bed, easy parking on street. Also, the hospitality and communication from our host. He left fresh bread each morning and provided fruit, milk, and some staples.

Wish there were more convenient outlets for phone charging.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter les sources thermales, le parc Terra Nostra, le village et les alentours de Furnas. Pedro est un hôte exceptionnel, il répond rapidement et nous a même offert fruits, pains frais, lait et café & thé pour notre séjour. Le logement est confortable, avec tout le nécessaire et offre une magnifique terrasse en prime. Allez y sans hésiter!

Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Es war sehr feucht und daher gab es auch einen unangenehmen Geruch. Meiner Meinung nach ist das Schlafzimmer im Dachboden nicht bewohnbar. Da wir nur zu zweit waren, haben wir den Raum nicht weiter benutzt.
