Apartment was spacious with a Great view of the lake. comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, close to nearby Intra for food shopping, pharmacy etc. fantastic communication from Carol prior to and during our stay. Carol was very helpful and understood concerns around the villa being pet friendly and assured us extra cleaning would be taken care of

The view of Lake Maggiore from the apartment was amazing and very picturesque. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was a small bottle of Limoncello left on the dining table when we arrived and some basic cooking items in the cupboards. Our host, Carol was welcoming, checked to see that we were happy with the apartment and assisted us to obtain a taxi very early in the morning. Carol also provided us with suggestions as to where to eat and what to see.

The apartment was a good 20 minute walk from Ghiffa or Indra. Carol advised us not to hire a car as we were only staying two nights so apart from walking, we needed to rely on a bus, ferry or taxi. The timetable of the bus and ferry were spasmodic. We did not find out that there was a walking path until our last afternoon from a Tour Guide. Instead we risked our lives walking along the road facing the oncoming traffic. At times, there was barely 30 centimetres of bitumen to walk on! There was no air conditioning but two fans that you could use to circulate the air near where you slept. We tried leaving the doors/windows open but we could hear the noise of passing traffic and the buzzing of mosquitoes.

Villa Selva is one of the nicest, if not the nicest property I have ever visited. The apartment is spacious, immaculate, and well-equipped and nothing beats that view of Lake Maggiore. The garden is private and beautiful just like the nature surrounding it. Carol is more than helpful and you can inquire with her about everything you need. Warmest recommendations to everyone visiting Lago Maggiore!

Breath-taking view and quiet green spaces; privacy and the coziness of feeling at home; extremely clean and comfortable with all the facilities one can conceive and many more! We do not share photos because the pictures in booking about this place are giving exactly what you will live: a fairy-tale :)

The wi-fi connection didn’t work well, but we had our own hotspot connection, so it wasn’t a real issue for us.

Nice apartment with an wonderful view. Carol is very kindly and warm host. It was a pleasure for us to stay here.
