Super apartment in an excellent location in the centre of the old town area.

Cockroaches and Ants Avoid!! Cockroaches inside the apartment I was getting out of bed and nearly stepped on one bare footed. It had turned upside down and couldn’t flip over. They are also in the communal areas so believe it’s a problem with the building. The smell of the sewer which is in the bedroom area. There is major building work next door which will last for years! So there is a constant sound of drilling during the day and the owners failed to mention this prior to booking. The soonest they could get a cleaning team was Monday I spoke to them on the Saturday. Carlos the staff member I’d been communicating with he took on him self to let himself into my apartment without my consent and but as he didn’t see any ants he decided he was not going to send a team. Only on realizing that I am a ‘celebrity’ with a decent Instagram following did his tone change from accusatory and dismissive to sorry and fake helpful. Beggars belief really. Now I hold my hands up to say the city tax is due on arrival. I arrived Friday night and agreed to pay it on Saturday evening and left it in the lockbox. I think these hosts are new to hospitality and lack a degree of professionalism. I ended up booking a service apartment the other side of the square from which i’m writing this review- I’ve been here 10 days and it’s a world apart!

Every thing -Large size apartment nicely furnished. Excellent location at Plaça da Figueira - walking distance from Avenida da Liberdade, Praça De Commércio and many more.Very convenient to take the Metro, buses and Tram 28

Couldn't fix the blocked kitchen sink even in five days

Great location and nice apartment

The wifi is not very good. It doesnt reach other rooms Advertised as having a balcony but what it contains shouldnt be considered a balcony Worst it all, the apartment is basically in a construction site. There is noise constantly all day which is fine if youre not planning to be there all day. The drilling usually started at 8am but one day they were working at 7am. On one occasion we could not enter the building for 10 minutes because the builders were working in a man hole at the front door. These reviews about the building eotk have been going back some time too. I felt very ripped off.

Good location

Noise: You can hear and feel the Metro passing periodiccaly up to 01am. Metro running underneath the building has to be mentioned in the description as people more sensitive could pay more attention. It is one thing to have a lively place the day and a different one to be able to rest the night. Smell: There was a very bad smell in the bedroom covered by a cleaning product first day. Bedroom: The windows give on a very ugly, dirty and unsecure interior place. Impossible to open them. Owners: Quite difficult the contact, need to do reminders. Apartment with balcony: There is a very small, 30 cm balcony. Unfair to use it in the descrption. Refurbishement work next door, drill and a lot of other noise. Front lock door very tricky. Front door does not fully close as it’s an old one.

centrally located. Superb for all transport links and if you need to be in the less hilly part of the city! Fully equipped kitchen, iron, board, washing machine, cleaning items. The bedroom is at the rear and quiet. the big double doors are double glazed, so the outside noise / traffic does not bother you.

We loved everything, however you can feel the Metro pass periodically, but it is a soothing sound.

Excellent location within walking distance from most attractions in the center.

Beautifully appointed apartment. Clean, comfortable a home away from home. Lovely floor to ceiling windows, perfect to open up and take in the sound of the square.

Everything was perfect no negatives.
