Great room (1 bedroom) with functional kitchenette. Daily housekeeping was unexpected but welcome. Staff were extremely pleasant. Jessi the concierge was amazing - she helped with everything we needed quickly and efficiently over whatsapp (including arrival details, departure transportation, restaurant and tour recommendations, and even for medical clinic details when my partner had an unexpected urgent need to see a physician). Pool was great. Gym deck was quiet and useful. Everything about Nala was a peaceful retreat from the hectic main road, while remaining a short walk to multiple cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and access to Carmen beach. We quite enjoyed this retreat for a week and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation a bit on the quieter area of Santa Teresa.

Interior

Access to the property was via a key pad on the main gate and into your room. The hosts use WhatsApp to communicate which is super easy and they are very responsive. Access details are sent to you ahead of your arrival so it was all very smooth. The rooms are very stylish and the bed was super comfy. Location is great and handy for restaurants and beach access all within easy walking distance.

On a couple of occasions there was nowhere to sit by the pool so if you didn't want to hit the beach or go out, your options were slightly limited all be it you could use the hammock on the terrace but ours was at the back of the room so didn't get much sun and you felt a bit hemmed in. The shower was quite open so the bathroom floor tended to get quite wet so mind your step! I am being super picky though...

The location was great, just minutes from a stunning wide surfing beach and the shops. The place is tucked away and makes you feel safe and comfortable in this quiet corner. Nice pool and great rooftop platform for yoga, light weights routine where you can watch howler monkeys in the morning.

The room we booked said it had a balcony. But the room they initially gave us was a dark ground floor room. They kindly upgraded us to a one bedroom suite when I pointed out that balcony meant it was above the ground floor. The suite was lovely, big kitchen/living area, generous bathroom and good size bedroom. They were very gracious hosts.

Super clean and maintained. The yoga deck is magical. All doors are with code, super comfortable if you are a surfer.

Absolutely nothing

Amazing staff! Amazing facilities! Jessi made our trip seamless! The rest of the staff was extremely attentive, and our room was cleaned daily. The location is superb, 2 min to the beach, 1 min to the supermarket. The kitchen availability was amazing - I cooked all our meals. Book with confidence!

- very calm and super well located (only 5 min walking distance from beach and Main Street) - coffee machine in the room and the well-equipped outdoor kitchen - Pool - very cozy yoga deck - Jenny helped us with renting an ATV and gave a lot of helpful recommendations for Yoga, fishing trips and restaurants.
