Alfama Apartment with River view

Nice view from the apartment.

Strong smell of bleach in the bathroom. Would be better to use something with neutral/ pleasant smell.

Beautiful location, fabulously renovated property. Amazing views and the integrated shutters on the windows were perfect to stop you from being woken by the bright sunlight.

The top bedroom had a low sloping ceiling which wasn’t great for tall people and there were just a couple of areas that could have been improved eg coffee or side table next to the sofa, better placed plug sockets (particularly upstairs).

Location was perfect

Climbing 3 sets of a narrow staircase lugging heavy suitcase was very difficult. Host didn’t answer phone or return my call

Nice view, parking nearby in the port, a lot of fado restaurants close by the app.

Front door very small and heavy to enter if you are tall, also the app has very low ceiling but if you are up to 175 cm ok.

Bright, airy apartment in a prime location in Lisbon. Easy to walk around the neighbourhood and further into other districts. Good transport links nearby. Comfortable beds and good linens. Some other reviews mention that the apartment is small, but it is so well thought out and the layout works so well it feels like a much bigger apartment. We really enjoyed opening the doors and window in the lounge area and looking out over the neighbourhood, the small terrace off the upstairs bedroom was a real bonus too. 4 of us stayed 2 adults 2 teenagers. Would recommend.

Absolutely nothing, however it worth knowing the apartment is on the third floor of an apartment building so if stairs aren’t your thing probably book somewhere else and probably not Lisbon.

The location was phenomenal!

Extremely small, especially for 4 people. Would be perfect for a couple.
