Alfama Best Balcony

Good location in Alfama close to bars and restaurants. Comfortable apartment with a small balcony and windows that open up for fresh air

Noisy. Upstairs tenants were very loud and the 2nd group (a family of 5) were escorted from the property by the police at 1am Friday morning. There is an area for garbage bins across the street and the garbage truck came between 1-2:30am each morning and they're loud. I emailed the management company a few times requesting check out information and didn't receive a reply. I also didn't receive an apology or explanation for the episode Thursday night / Friday morning with the upstairs tenants and police. Poor service.

property was in the center of alfama, so a very quaint area.

the property looked dirty, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the towels (which were so small they were basically hand towels) were so old and used they should have been thrown away.

squatters sleeping in stairwell landing for 2 of the 3 days/nights I was there. shower curtain rod continued to fall numerous times. strong odor in kitchen.
