Alfama Best Balcony

The apartment is comfortable and functional, with an excellent location.

you could hear the footsteps and movements of the apartments below and above almost as if you were in your own room, which makes it hard to rest.

Location was perfect easy access to most attractions and public transport, shops and restaurants.

Bit tatty, no proper hanging space or storage for clothes, only mirror was in bathroom and balcony too small to really sit on, plus could hear every movement from apartment above which made it difficult to sleep.

Not like the photos at all!!! Smelly toilet and kitchen. Coffee machine but not even coffee or tea left. Wallpaper falling off of the wall. Value for money for this place is shocking. No attention to detail and I’d expect to have something if I’m paying £110 a night!!!! Crazy how photos can show something and in real life totally different. Be aware.

fantastic location, and it was a cute small flat

no information in the welcome book. Had a difficult time opening the door for the first time. No dish cloth or tea towel for washing dishes. didn’t have a broom and dust pan to sweep the floor. didn’t have a bottle opener or corkscrew for wine and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay up so showering without a curtain. The sink stopper didn’t hold water when washing dishes. no extra bedding.

Above ground level meant we left the windows open for great breeze. Staff was very kind and responsive. However room needed some updates and was wildly overpriced for the value.

There was no kettle. Coffee machine wasn't working either. I called the management and they said someone would come the next day. No-one came. When I called again the next day no reply to calls or messages. Utensils in kitchen we're dirty and there was a strong smell from the sewers. Fridge was noisy and the kitchen door couldn't close so it kept me up at night. My bed had hairs in it. Towels looked grey and smelt unclean. Bathroom was small with the door knocking into toilet when you open the door. Shower curtain was dirty and old. Should be changed!. No heater and covers on bed were very thin. Definitely not worth the price! You could stay at a hotel for the same price and have a better experience.
