FLH Chiado Skyline

Situated right in the heart of the city, this apartment is in a great location for seeing the city sights. It is a big spacious living area with two smallish bedrooms. The kitchen is fairly well equipped if you intend to do your own food preparation. We were staying on the top floor which has a pretty amazing view over the city towards to ocean.

Being on the top floor it is a long haul for your luggage and there is no lift. Being so close to the city centre has the drawback of it can be a bit noisy until the early hours of the morning.

Beautiful view from the deck and the living room. Nice kitchen and living room area. The place was very clean. The artwork was quite interesting and ecclectic.

The main problem was the step-up to the kitchen, bathroom and door to the deck. Not a problem during the day, but incredibly difficult to see in the evening and night. I was walking in from the deck and didn't see the step (the wood exactly matches the floor when you step down). I stepped into thin air and took a very nasty fall. They need to mark it somehow so that it is clearly visible when you come in from the deck in the evening. I was very lucky that I didn't get hurt worse than I did... I ended up with a banged up knee and elbow, and a cracked or broken rib. I could have actually had multiple broken bones - they need to somehow mark it more clearly to make it safer.

Very spacious, clean and great amenities. The rooftop terrace is absolutely fantastic and gets sun most of the day.

Not an issue for us but steep steps to get to the property as it is on top floor in an old building.

Very spatious and bright apartment which is very close (5 min easy walking) to the city center. Panoramic views from the inside and outside (terrace with the sunset!). Fully equiped (even had tools), modern and traditional at the same time. Isolated from the traffic and city noise. Perfect for both, couples and families.

One very minor issue: if 3 or more air conditioners are powered on, and some other high energy consumer (e.g., hairdryer) used at the same time, the main fuse could pop out, which is easily solved by switching it on : )

Views from the room was amazing. No need to go to any view decks with the beautiful view from the apartment. Central location close to almost everything!

There was no lift & the apartment was in the 4th floor. A bit difficult with luggages.

This place is just wonderful. Like a dream house. It's really exceptional. Also the terrace was just wonderful. Kitchen greatly furnished. The bathroom is italian friendly (with a bidet :D). We fell in love at the first sight!!

It can get really noisy (Saturday's night - Sunday was obviously much more calm) in the night since the apartment is located on one of the most busy streets. But the windows are isolating well. No elevator. Be prepared for quite a hike up - 4th floor of an old house. Also, the check in could be done easier to be honest. You have to go to this centre to pick up the keys, around 20 minutes of walk away from the apartment.
