The Old Fire Station Ludlow

Central location to the town of Ludlow- 3 minute walk to centre of town. Beautiful restored apartment, full of character and very tastefully decorated. Large living space encompassing large lounge with dining room,open plan kitchen and another lounge. Twin bedroom in bedroom 2 king bedrooms. 3 bathrooms 2 of which en suite.

Host was super responsive to questions and very helpful with everything.

Location, apartment was amazing - well equipped and laid out, comfortable and affordable. Lovely spot for the town and seeing our family.

Everything was fabulous

Everything! High end furniture and finishing. Spacious, warm, lovely snacks all quality, instruments! Comfortable beds, bedding,cleanliness, communication from host, flexibility of host. Location, good Wi-Fi, everything was carefully thought of. Parking provided for one car, other paid parking not too far. Very close to Feathers Hotel which is highly recommended and nice relatively easy short walk - The Bread walk takes in the main sights if you’re pushed for time.

Only one little thing if we had to pick is shower in back room top of spiral stairs ran hot and cold and if there was a floating shelf or somewhere for the hand soap. However that’s minor as we just used the downstairs shower.

It was only a short walk to the fantastic restaurants and shops of Ludlow. Charlene was very flexible about check-in and check-out times. It was great to have 3 bathrooms.

It took us a while to work out that to access the door to the apartment, we had to go through the entrance to the hairdressers but it might be that we didn't read the instructions properly.

We hired this place with a group of friends to attend a wedding nearby. The apartment is really tastefully decorated, and very well equipped. Beds were comfy and the showers were warm/powerful - everything you need! Charlene was really helpful, recommending taxi firms and agreeing a late check out on the Sunday (greatly appreciated!) The old staircase from its days as a fire house is so cool, really nice to see that was preserved, though we did tend to opt for the normal stairs at the other end of the apartment as they are very narrow and steep! Thank you so much for a really lovely stay.

You can only park one car outside, however there are several car parks nearby (Charlene helpfully sorted the permit for the first car for us and pointed out the closest car park) that are very reasonably priced, so this wasn't a problem for us.

The refurbishment was to a high standard and the host was very kind and accommodating.
