Great location, great size for 4, recently refurbished

Need some supplies , like : Dish cloth Bath mat Shampoo holder in the bathroom Enough glasses and cutlery for 4 guests Sofa bed is broken Refrigerator doesn’t freeze well (the beer was only good to drink in the last day - 3rd day) Lack of oven - even if it’s an electric or air fryer Coat hanger They left only 1 dishwasher pod (for 3 days)

Traveled with my mother and two bedrooms and baths worked nice for us. Apartment was in a great location, safe neighbourhood, everything close (shops, metro, groceries). There wete no big bars near but nornal city noses ofcourse and car traffic until nights. Matched photos and clean. Beds very comfortable and nice linen. Everything worked in the kitchen and all basic needs for cooking were there. Quiet house, slept well. Shower had good water pressure (but toilet didnt).

Not necessary negative, but good to know: Central location = there will be some street noise (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper). If you have mobility issues, this apartment is on second floor = long stairs to go up to it. My mother would have liked a shower caddy to put shampoo on/i and an antislip carpet in the bathroom (she is almost 80, though), to prevent slipping/falling.

Location is great. The apartment itself is clean.

The sheets had spots & hair on them. Need new pillows & pillow cases. Bed sheets don't fit properly. All windows lead to a shaft. No views of the street or backyard. The terrace is not clean and not for enjoyment, it's probably useful for drying clothes. No view of any kind.

The position is a huge strength - literally in the center of Madrid. We were even able to get back to the apartment to drop our shopping during the day because it is so well connected. The kitchen is well equipped even if we didn't use it and overall clean! Loved the 2 bathrooms which is perfect for group of over 4 people.

The flip side of staying in the center is that during the weekend at night the street is very noisy, so if you are a light sleeper (which I am) it could be a little difficult to fall asleep. Earplugs helped a lot though. Another thing to notice is that I slept on the sofa bed and it was uncomfortable, too hard.
