I am trying to reach them regarding the returnable deposit of 2000 but not answering me totally ignoring me

Location was amazing. Host was prompt & it was clean.

The host Raeesa called at 3pm to say the unit was not ready and we could check in an hour later - No problem. But on arrival,the unit was filthy: dirty floors, visibly dirty linens/hair on the pillowcases and a white powdery substance on every surface/chairs tables etc. The host apologised and sent a cleaner, I saw her change the linen in one bedroom, so I trusted she did the rest. After she left, I discovered pillowcases and sheets that were still dirty and clearly used. The host insisted everything had been changed and even sent her daughter to show the dirty linen bag — which actually proved I was right, as there were only 6 pillowcases in the bag, out of the 12 pillows in the bedrooms. The host then suggested we leave and find another place "because we were unhappy", this was after 8pm, as if we should have accepted sleeping on dirty linens. Thankfully, her daughter (who was very helpful) eventually took it upon herself to replace everything correctly as she could see the dirty linen that I pointed out on the bed. The price was reduced just before that weekend, which the host reminded me of while I complained - this suggests to me that the cleaning cost was simply removed rather than actually cleaning the unit. Completely unacceptable experience. Also a plumbing issue in bedroom ensuite, water leaking from ceiling onto the toilet and floor, couldn't use that bathroom.

The property is conveniently located to all tourist attractions in Durban. The venue is quiet and extremely safe. I like the gas braai facility and the fully equipped kitchen.

The access code machine required a long press to open, which was frustrating when you were in a hurry.
