Waterfront Delight

We booked and received confirmation to stay at Waterfront Delight. Upon our arrival we were informed that they had double booked the accommodation, amongst lots of other excuses and moved us to other accommodation without our knowledge or consent. The other accommodation did not suit us. They were unable to assist us and we asked for our deposit back, which they paid. We found our own alternative accommodation.

The cleaner had to clean under pressure the one rooms linen and pillow cases was not changes it was dirty as well as the mat in the bathroom. The property must maintain their ceiling fans it was a bit scary looks like its wants to fall out or place standing fans in the rooms it was very hot you have to get value for your money pricy places must exceed your expectations

The location was fabulous.

We paid a really high cleaning fee and on arrival the place was super dusty and not clean - work had been done and we had to wash all the glasses and dishes before we used them. Not enough towels - and a few kitchen utensils were missing which made it hard to cook. The dishwasher wasn't working so we had to try figure out and ended up having to pull it out of where it was as it was off at the plug behind it. There was no hairdryer as stated on list. The wi-fi also didn't work - I made the owner aware of all these things and she didn't bother replying or even bringing us anything we needed. The Netflix just signed us out and then i had to wait for a code - which we only got 2 hours later.

We booked for self catering

Could've been better if the time we arrived atleast the guy we are liked to when we call him on our arrival he picked his call not to be assisted by Garden guy who still ask us the details. Could've been better or when you book place you expect clean apartment clean towels and clean bedding What we experienced was very frustrating When we report to the guy he promised to talk to the owner for compansation until to date he never came back.

Easy communication and check in. The place comes with a private garage. The place is very comfortable and big. There is inverter for load shedding.

The place didn't feel safe.

Dirty, wifi went off, and the R850 cleaning cost was not included in the initial booking. There were ants all over the apartment
