Apartamento do Carmo

One of our favorite stays in our 2 week trip. Very spacious and well equipped, very comfortable for a group of friends. The hosts were all so lovely and one of the met us on check in and gave us white wine. I think everyone had issues with the bedroom that you have to go through to go to the kitchen but it was not an issue for us at all, we just assigned the two heavy sleepers in our group there. It was a little weird but that room was the biggest and had its own bathroom. We appreciate the airconditioning in all rooms because there was a sudden heat wave. The neighborhood is lovely as well, it is importantbto note that you can use the escalators in the Rossio station to go up the apartment to cut the hiking in half. The neighborhood is lovely, close to Michelin restaurants and the historical Carmo square. No elevator but it is on the 2nd floor and it was manageable bringing luggages upstairs.

The electricity tripped once when we used the airconditioning and hairdryers simultaneously. It was fixed quickly because all the hosts were responsive. Maybe additional plugs in one room can be added as well

4 adults and a teenager. Great apartment, love the charm, great location. Was a little hard to find but they guided us in. Parking garage nearby was convenient. Description was great so we knew what we were in for. The one and only complaint would be there were people outside touching the keypad ringing the apt. at 4am, not sure if it was a fluke or happens often. Otherwise great stay.

Going through the bedroom into kitchen is strange but again we knew and managed. Not a lot of room to open luggage unless in living room, so definitely pack small and light if you want the luggage in bedrooms.

Location was excellent! Very clean.

Had to ask for soap to be filled but that got rectified very quickly.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in a great location, a short walk from the Rossio train station. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We were sad to leave.

Not necessarily a dislike but just a heads up that you have to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the kitchen and the apartment is up one flight of stairs. This wasn't a problem for us and we knew ahead of time but it might be an issue for some people.

La ubicación es muy buena

La distribución de los espacios en la casa. No tiene cortinas y prácticamente está a pie de calle.

A localização, a simpatia dos anfitriões, toda a disponibilidade prestada.

A parte de ter de passar por um dos quartos para aceder à cozinha, não é espetacular. É o único que tenho a referir, tirando isso, tudo incrível.

The apartment was clean, very well located and we were greeted upon arrival and explained the location, the neighborhood, activities and food recommendations.
