Bad smell in the apartment from the drains, damp feeling inside the room. No bathroom door.

Brilliant apartment in the heart of the Bairro Alto area of Lisbon, but not right on top of the main bars so quiet enough that I didn't hear anything at night! The apartment made me feel like I lived there, not stayed in a hotel. It had air con which was much needed in August in Lisbon, a fridge to keep all my drinks and food chilled, and an iron! The bed was comfortable, the sheets and cover a little old though but can easily just be replaced. The apartment is on the third floor, and through 3 coded doors so I felt an extra level of security. I didn't meet the host. All communication was done via booking.com and very easy to understand. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Bed cover and linen had some minor staining and could easily be replaced.

We were pleasantly surprised with how much bigger the apartment felt compared to the photos. For 2 of us it was a perfect size with a great little eating area and separate kitchen and bathroom. The aircon was also great, cooled down the apartment nicely. Also loved the feel of the window onto the cute street outside - felt very authentic/Portuguese.

Everything was great! The only thing would be that it’s a little noisy on a Saturday night when all the bars close and the people get kicked onto the street. That’s not the accomodations fault though and was all part of the experience.
