The location and the room were very nice to be in. It was a very safe area with easy and quick access to public transportation by foot. Overall the space was nice.

It was very difficult to get in contact with the host prior to arrival. We had sent them a message the day the payment was made and received no answer as to whether or not they had received the money. Later on, we asked them for instructions as to how to get into the building or get the keys and they only answered half an hour before the arrival time was set. It was very hard for us to organize ourselves as we had gotten to a new city and did not know where to go or even if we had confirmation of the housing.

Impossible to contact management, toilet bately flushed, sign not to use toiletpaper??

It was in a good location, walkable to most places. AC was good.

1. They hid dirty used towels in one of the drawers of the dresser upon our arrival the first day. 2. There was a party in the hallway until 4am on the first night of our stay. 20-30 people were screaming constantly and host did not do anything. 3. The bathroom will randomly start to smell like sewage and egg. 4. Windows are not sound proof. You will hear everything happening outside (and it’s a busy area!). 5. If you are over 5’8, you will not fit in the bathroom. At all. 6. They request 12 euro city tax paid by cash before leaving the property and do not take credit card. This is not disclosed until after check in. They threaten to fine you if you do not leave the city tax. 7. While checking out, we were bringing our suitcases down the stairs and ran into the owner. We offered to let her come up the stairs since we would be slower. As we tried to move our suitcases over for her to pass through, she proceeded to kick one of the suitcases out of her way with force. She was extremely unpleasant.

The smell of the pipes in the shower or toilet. Made the whole room very smelly.

The mattress was comfortable. The towels were good. There was a good supply of hot water in kitchen and shower, but we only managed cold in the bathroom sink.

It was a noisy room (4 small apartments in one space) and a bar directly opposite, noise throughout day and night even two floors up. Access by code into house then a timed light , which switches off before you get up all the stairs, another door code into a tiny vestibule, then another door code to reach the room. There was one pillow each, and no spares. No spare blankets just sheet and counterpane. Only one mug and we asked for another, none came. The cutlery and glasses had not been properly washed. There was no cloth to dry them with. There was only one chair with a back so sitting was not comfortable (stools were provided but not ideal). There were no instructions for the TV. It is positioned so walking round the end of the bed, where there is not much room, meant I was at just the right height to catch it with my shoulder. We were reminded about the tourist tax with 'or we will access your credit card and there could be penalties'. Pity we can't get a refund on the 'cleaning' charge of the bill. Oh, and the electric socket in the bathroom was not working either.
