Shabby Chic Flat 2

This apartment is located in the heart of Barro Alto, if you enjoy pubs, clubs, drinks, restaurants, loud music until 2 AM, you should definitely choose this one. The neighborhood might not look very safe especially in the night, but it is :) The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (there is no lift there) and it's very stylish. There is a living room with a couch, bedroom with double bed, and kitchen... connected to the toilet and shower (you might be a little surprised as we did). There is a washing machine, coffee machine and all the necessary equipment in the kitchen, although the amount of plates, cutlery might be not efficient.

The location is walking distance to tourist destination, restaurants & shops.

The facilities needs updating, the toulet is small, its hard to go up the stairs if you have lots if luggages, the stairs is creaking. The check-in & key to the apartment is a bit tricky.

Location is very convenient. We walked to most places we wanted to visit. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walk, Wi-Fi is extremely fast. Easy walk to metro station.

As other reviewers have said, it is very noisy at night and we had difficulty sleeping on 2 of the 3 nights. The windows do keep out some of the noise but even with them shut it can be very loud at night until very late (after 3am). In addition to the noise from the bars there is also a great deal of noise from people shouting and singing outside and noise from people in adjoining apartments. The noise dies down between 3 and 4am and then the street cleaning teams arrive and bin collections commence just after 7am trying to clean up the mess from the night before - this is very loud with glass bottles being poured into large bins, and bins being wheeled over the cobbled street. The shower temperature control doesn't work and it was stuck on very hot which made it uncomfortable to shower.

Cosy apartment. With all kind of supplies needed (soap, wc paper, towells) . All clean and tidy. Flat is small, but well accomodate for 4 px.very centric. Windows new, assolated from street noice. AC hot/cold in both rooms.

Wc is located in the kitchen.. no majof issue once you get use to it :) Area is very centric, a bit noisy on WE but it is was it is if you want to stay there.
