The Downtown Terrace - Fabulous Views, Sun Deck, Penthouse, 5th-floor no lift

Lovely experience at the Penthouse. Lovely comfortable stay with great facilities.

Pros. Great location, views, close to many attractions,nice apartment, well equipped. Cons. The stairs! 5th floor means 10 flights of stairs, 100 steps in all, not funny with heavy luggage. Shower was hot and cold and we were invaded by tiny ants.

Location was excellent. Shower really good.

Could be better maintained. Leaking taps in kitchen and main bathroom and a kettle that wouldn’t switch off. We had to mop the floor every time we washed dishes. 98 steps up to the apartment only for the reasonably fit.

It is a gorgeous very unique and quite spacious apartment with everything you need. The location is outstanding.

The 100 stairs are quite a challenge if you have any fitness or mobility issues. Great exercise otherwise. Finding somewhere to park while you get the parking voucher from inside the apartment in busy times is next to impossible. We ended up paying almost 90 euros for parking because it's also difficult to get the car out and back in if you don't know your way around.

Location is perfect, close to everything, and has a very comfortable bed (we used the one downstairs). We didn't use the kitchen, except to pour wine and water, so I can't speak to that aspect. The shower was good, and they provide body wash & shampoo. Check in and out was easy, and communication was good.

The stairs are a bit of a challenge with luggage (there are 98 stairs), but worth the view of the street goings-on from above, for us. Ceilings were no problem for me, but my husband, 5' 11", hit the top of his hat going through the doorways, so someone taller would need to be mindful.
