Pearl of Belem

Čudovita lokacija zelo lep razgled na most čarobno v nočnem času in jutranji zarji.Simpatična razporeditev prostorov v podstrešnem stanovanju do katetega vodi kar nekaj stopnic. Dobro opremljeno in čisto.

The house was so clean and spacious that it was enough for our family. Although it wasn’t written in the description, the house had a new dishwasher and a washing machine that was in good working condition. We fell in love with the area of Belem. I am adding some photos from the balcony of the house. The house is very close to the public transport.

Water was leaking from the shower but it was not that bad.

Pulito e con tutto ciò che serviva. Letti comodi. La zona bellissima per raggiungere i mezzi con una bella passeggiata

Purtroppo non funzionava l'apertura automatica ed avere solo 1 mazzo di chiavi in 4 non è comodo. Ci sarebbe la manutenzione da fare. La doccia e alcuni particolari sono poco curati. Quindi poco coerenti col prezzo. Le scale sono ripide ma questo è specificato bene nella descrizione.

I must say I have been extremely disappointed by this rental although at the beginning it was very promising.. First of all their automated checkin solutions never worked. We have been stuck 45mins outside the entry door without possibility to get in. Calling their hotline is useless, is like calling an offshore call center : somebody will call you back with an answer. We have been called back after an hour by someone in Spain (useless to solve an issue in Portugal), luckily a neighbor has let us in before. Shutter in the leaving room not working, signaled the first day … and never repaired. Shower not waterproof that flooded every time the bathroom. Bottom line : it is not worth the money!

Honestly the place is nearly perfect. Very cosy, makes you feel at home instantly. Quiet street, comfortable bed, good AC, decorated with charm. Nearly perfect. The beds were very comfortable and despite my size, I haven't sleep this good in an hotel/appartment since years

Being build tall, large and athletic as a person the kitchen and bathroom sometimes felt a little narrow. But if you're not 188cm, 115kg, you'll be fine. Huge drawback unfortunately: the appartment is on the third floor without elevator, which wouldn't be that much of an issue, if the staircase wouldn't be so incredibly narrow. Without exageration, it is even dangerously narrow because if you have to handle heavy luggage (which we did) you cannot carry it up without scratching the walls, bumping in the neighbours doors, making a huge noise and even stumbling or slipping in the stairs. So in case you are a frail person, or you have a back or wrist injury and carry heavy luggage with you, dont take this appartment. If you have a light suitcase or backpack all good.
