Problem with a fuse that was overloading.

Nice apartment in a good location, but it has a fundamental issue with the electrics.

Electrics dont work. Power trips out every 20mins or so. Staff knew about issue 6 weeks before and never offered us to rebook, deciding to prioritise keeping our cash while knowing there is a fundamental issue. Made no effort to resolve - no one came around to try fix (as I guess not fixable) and claimed it was us running high energy appliances.

The spaciousness.

The ceiling bathroom leaked through the light fixture every time the people above showered. I didn't like being in charge of emptying a kitchen pot catching the leak to make sure it didn't overflow, nor mopping up the overflow if we were gone all day. I didn't like the hair on the floor of the en suite bathroom when we checked in. I didn't like the power going out every 55 minutes, rendering the refrigerator unuseable. It also affected the electricity to the TV and the washer, as well as the outlets in the bedroom so that we couldn't charge our phones overnight. We'd go to bed and the power would go out several times throughout. Also, the pillows were flat and old and we had to buy our own. The response by the property was to move us over a mile away where we could not walk to our family. Furthermore, despite the reply about the bathroom being closed solving the electrical issues, this is COMPLETELY UNTRUE. The power went out every hour despite us never turning on the overhead lighting in the secondary bathroom, and it also meant that the lights could not be on in the PRIMARY BATHROOM or in the HALLWAY either, so you had to brush your teeth and put on your makeup in your bedrooms.

We had an issue with the circuit breaker, as electricity kept going out due to overload. While the hosts were quick to send maintenance the same day, unfortunately the issue persisted. Additionally, this is marked as an accessible apartment due to the building having an elevator, however, it is not actually accessible. The elevator stops in between floors, so if someone is in a wheelchair, it would not be accessible. A person in our group was on crutches due to a broken leg, hence we booked this apartment due to the accessibility indication. However, the elevator meant that they had to jump up half a floor on the stairs on their crutches to get to the apartment and half a floor down to get to the elevator, rendering the elevator useless and the accessibility marker misleading as the apartment is on the first floor.

Good location

Do not book this apartment. It has major electrical issues that the host can not fix. The electrics trip out every 50 mins, which causes all your food in the fridge to go warm, and it's impossible to charge your phones. The host blamed us for plugging in our phone and using their appliances for making the power go out all the time. See the photo attached as proof. The appartment was clean at first.

Although they charged us cleaning fee per day, there was no cleaning, no garbage service and even no dish washer detergent. There was an electricity problem and the electric box (switcher) went down. From the ceiling of the second bathroom, water spilled. There was no help, no compensation, nothing. I tried to cancel our book, but it was impossible, because there was no possibilty to cancellation through Booking.com. That place seems so nice but we lost our all foods in the fridge, had serious problem about charging cellphones and computer. We had two kids and thats why we preferred an appartment, not an hotel. But the experience we had in here was really bad.

Absolutely stunning apartment in fabulous location. Excellent space and lovely and clean.
