Nice bathroom with a good shower. The coffee machine was a nice touch.

A few things! The flat does not have proper ventilation as it is in the basement, so it would benefit from air con. Very hot and stuffy even with a fan and the dehumidifier. Also it is not possible to open the window as it is very low and people can see through it, as no curtains or anything is there for a bit of privacy. No natural light otherwise. No toaster or kettle. Floors were not properly cleaned, had hairs and the bin from the bathroom had trash. Plus the main door of the building was constantly wide open. But the worst of the worst were the cockroaches; two different types- small and black from the first day and then more appeared that were large (6-7 cm long) brown with wings. I contacted the owner but no solutions were offered although I did flag up with public health risk and the lack of pest control. It was disgusting, I couldn't sleep properly between the heat and the fear of the cockroaches and this affected my work. I will not be booking this place again in my next stay in Lisbon.

The apartment is in a very quiet street and was in general very quiet. The sleeping couch was very comfortable and I always had a good night rest. The place was very clean. For a single person who needs a functional place for a few days, it's a very good value.

To get to the tourist area Alfama, it takes about a 25 minutes bus ride (the busses are hardly ever on time) - and to get to Belem there isn't really a good connection with public transfer; so it is a 20-25min walk. That's fine at the beginning but with all the hills it can get tiring after a few days. Some improvement suggestions for the kitchen: getting tops for the pots, one or two more cutting knifes and a water heater for coffee or tea (if you don't want to use the capsule machine).

Even it's very simple, you got erverything you need. For a few days it's a good base to discover Lissabon. The communication with Michele was great. Thank you!

AMAZING

The self-check-in process was simple and worked really well. Uncomplicated and fast, I just had to set the password and not waste time with it. Everything was clean and neat, and it was a quiet street.

The studio is a bit hard to find, in a hidden alley behind the main street. Also, the next-door neighbors would often not lock the street door. The bed is actually a sofa bed, not very comfortable, and the small window doesn't let the air circulate.

Equipement was modern.

Appartement is underground. Was very hot inside and humide. Impossible to breathe and sleep normally.
