L’atelier St Remacle

I chose this booking because it was listed as having both a bed and a pull out couch, and I needed two beds. Upon arrival we pulled out the couch to find it wasn’t made up at all and there was no extra bedding in the entire apartment. The bedding that was there felt a little dirty. In addition, the shower curtain was actually a window curtain that was far too long for the shower so it became saturated with water and leaked all over the floor. Now I understand why the flooring outside of the shower was a mess. It was also requested to pay for parking each day with cash. Unfortunately I had no cash, and wish the amount would’ve been added to the total ahead of time so I could’ve taken care of it then.

The location was very central, within easy reach of all the main attractions and the nightlife. There were also supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, no door between rooms, no door on bathroom, place was dirty and damp. No bedding when we arrived for kids bed, when we did get it, it was damp and there was no sheet. There were ants.

The location is nearby the centre. The appartement is good for a couple of days.

The bed was big, the balcony was nice, the TV worked.

The flat wasn't cleaned when we arrived which wasn't to bad, it didn't look perfect but it looked alright, at least the bed and the towels where fresh. After a little discovering and wondering why it smelled so bad in the apartment, we found out that the toilet was clogged. Everytime we flushed, water was coming out of every drain around (shower drain, bathroom sink, kitchen sink which was outside of the apartment in the hallway). We informed the landlord, who send someone to fix it the next day at 9:00. He came at 14:00 and sadly wasn't able to fix it. We informed the landlord again, but didn't bother because we only (luckily) stayed there for two nights. After this whole disaster I told the landlord that I would like a rent reduction for not providing us with a functional bathroom, for which we paid for. The landlord ghostet me on Booking.com and didn't respond to my emails. I'm currently trying to get the reduction through customer service, I can't recommend this, probably the worst experience for that amount of money that I ever had. Otherwise the apartment wasnt in a good shape, it was very cold and the only heating was one little stand alone electronic heating device for the whole flat and you can hear everything your neighbours are doing.

Terrible experience. We booked the apartment, but thr owner overbooked it.

The studio was clean and the access to it was easy

The room had the windows open when I arrived and it was full of mosquitoes. I realised later than the windows had to stay open because sometimes there was a foul smell coming out of the bathroom. Also, you hear everything happening in the next studio, and on top of that, the tiny "kitchen" is located outside the studio.
