Spacious, well fitted-out and clean unit in a lively neighbourhood, with a supermarket, metro station and plenty of bars, restaurants within 100 metres. Very easy check-in with clear details provided by the owner well before arrival and quick response to any question. Some coffee and biscuits left, which were a nice touch. Handy Police station within walking distance.

There is only street parking available nearby. Our car was broken into during our stay and items stolen from the boot.The local police informed us this is one of the 2 worst suburbs in Madrid for crime due to gangs and drugs. We had checked when we arrived whether it was safe to park, as we noticed heavy police presence and accepted the owners response it was safe. We would have looked for a locked parking station if we would have been advised correctly. It is possible we were targetted as we had a French plated car. This incident has wasted plenty of our time, over 3 hours wait to be able to file a police report and then further time spent to change over our rental car and the lodging of an insurance claim. If travelling by car, I would suggest you don't stay in this area.
