Chueca Apartment

No toiletries available, had to go buy shampoo and soap

Property was small but cosy. Nice apartment in a prime location and well secure.

The size and there was no hot cooking facilities. No working hob to cook so that was a pain but everything else worked fine.

Location was good

Room needs some upgrades/updating and could pay closer attention to cleaning.

The sloppy handling from a simple request as i knew it was in a square but there were no specifics as to the actual address of the property. They left it up to the day of arrival to give me any confirmed info. They also demanded payment of security bond even though it was written that I pay when i arrived. I was also expected to have whatsapp on my phone. Too bad for those who did not. I was also locked in the security vestibule for 15 minutes because the exit button would not work (i was also not informed prior that there WAS an exit button) and i only got out to catch my early train because someone was leaving the building. They finally contacted me to apologize 2 hours later. The responses were slow and vague and they did not have the courtesy of writing in English even though i had sent a translated msg at the same time.

The central position, easy to access, safe.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, sometimes we found a leak under the fridge.

Very comfortable and convenient apartment.

The stairs before you get to the elevator. At 70 it is very difficult to carry luggage and climb stairs.

In the heart of Chueca and the central Madrid. You don’t need to use any transportation for exploring the city. It was a great value compared to the price.
