La poca empatía de la dueña.

L'emplacement. le calme malgré une situation dans une rue très animée car donne côté "cour" (au 5ème étage avec ascenseur).l'amabilité de la propriétaire, que nous n'avons pas vu, mais qui était disponible via Whatsapp pour répondre aux questions (avant et pendant le séjour)

Its location. Lively area with lots of restaurants. Walkable to 2 metro stations. Loved the view from the window of the apartment across to the cathedral, wonderful at night when floodlit.

The lift broke down and was out of use for most of our stay. 100 steps up to the apartment and again back down. Not funny with luggage to carry. The host did not seem that bothered, didn’t enquire if we were managing. The apartment is on the 5th floor, don’t think that was specified in the spec, only when we were given access details. Also I now see that previous guests have been without the lift, so I would not have booked this place had I spotted that. Also did not realise from the photos and info that the bed is in the main room which also has a breakfast bar with 2 high stools - not comfortable - and 2 tub chairs. No sofa. The bathroom is off this main room - it was good, but we couldn’t lock the door because the lock sticks. The kitchenette also off the main room. Fridge, hob, oven, toaster, microwave.. but no kettle. When we asked the host if we could have a kettle he said no, just to boil water on the hob (really? … with only one absolutely enormous pan, impossible to pour from) OR in the microwave (but no jug to do that .. only 2 quite small mugs which got too hot to hold when used to boil water). Why only 2 mugs? And why only 3 knives, one a butter knife and another with a sharp bent end)? Details … yes, but all these small inadequacies were irritating. Also some details in the spec that I think are not accurate. There is not air conditioning, just a portable and noisy a/c unit. The host does not meet you at the property - it is a self check, and we found the instructions difficult to understand until spelt out.

The location was absolutely perfect. It is a very vibey street, especially at night, with lots of restaurants and pubs in the street and surrounding area. You do not hear the noise in the apartment! There are outside & inside block out blinds. A lovely sunrise & sunset view above the buildings. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable (including the bed). The host communicates and responds timeously. Close to lots of mini & bigger supermarkets (mercados), fruit & veg stores. Walk around to familiarise yourself with all availabilities. Plenty to see in and surrounding areas. We walked everywhere and saw so much. Taxis & Ubers are easily accessible if you need them and pick you up outside the entrance door. We used them for our luggage transfers from and to the metro station. National Spain Day on 12th October just added atmosphere to the city and of course brought thousands of people. There were free electrifying concerts in the evening. The free walking tours ( tips are their income) are with local guides. You learn local history and they also give tips and recommendations for the city. Go sooner rather than later so you can return to any places you are interested in. SOUTH AFRICANS, our 2 pin electric plugs work perfectly without adaptors...only if you have 3 pin plugs. (We carried unnecessary adaptors, adding weight to our luggage). We didn't buy water as the tap water is good..save some euro!?

la bellissima luce naturale e vista sulla cattedrale che rasserena, host molto disponibile e presente, anche se da remoto. posizione in mezzo alla movida ma silenzioso, un posto molto piacevole per visitare Madrid

niente, solo suggerirei di mettere una lampada per leggere vicino al letto, per maggiore comodità

somos argentinos.tomamos mate.nos falto una pava eléctrica o algún recipiente para calentar el agua ennla.cocina. de ser posible también poner una breve reseña de.como debe usarse la cocina.el resto genial
