Balcony Lake View Apartment

The balcony is the main reason you should book this place, beautiful views, calm place away from main tourist places, the apartment has all the needed facilities for staying longer. The host was super lovely and helpful! Would love to come back!

It is worth to note that the apartment is on the second floor accessible by stairs only and jacuzzi is charged extra.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped apartment, with a fabulous, albeit partially obstructed, view of the lake. We really enjoyed having meals on the deck. The pictures are an accurate representation of the apartment. Deborah, the person managing the rental was excellent, she responded promptly when we contacted her and during the rental, and was nice enough to pick us and and drop us off at the train station, as we did not have a car. Limited ferry service is available from Lierna. Nice, quiet location in Lierna away from the tourist crowds of Varenna, which is only 10 minutes away by train, where you can get more frequent ferries to visit other areas of the lake.

I do not recommend this property if you do not have a vehicle and we feel that that the description of the property should be more upfront regarding accessibility if you do not have a car. If you have a vehicle this eliminates most of the issues we had with the property and staying in Lierna. When I contacted the property after booking it for more information regarding the distance to the train station, ferry and town, the response was that the apartment is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. No mention that the property is located up a steep hill which is a challenge to climb, especially with luggage or groceries! (Per our apple watch count, it is over 1,000 steps uphill....the equivalent of climbing up the stairs from bottom to the top of the Washington monument in DC!) You certainly cannot go up or down the hill after dark without risk. Lierna does not have a taxi service, and the taxis listed in the information sheet That was provided are located in Varenna and they usually weren't available when we tried to call them. Taxi service in Lake Como in general is extremely limited, and Uber only offers luxury car service at much higher rates.

Sitting on the very large balcony, looking down at the lake and in the dark viewing all the lights - it was just plainly gorgeous. You can take a walk down to the beach and have fine Italian food and coffee.. What else do we need?!!! Thank you so much dear Debora!!!

The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The apartment is large and spacious. The welcome from the host was really good.

It was quiet, clean and had a nice view. Fully stocked kitchen was appreciated.

We were surprised to know that in this part of Italy heat was not available for a few more days and we had to wear our jackets to stay warm in the apartment.

I absolutely loved the apartment! The view of the lake exceeded my expectations, and the host, Debora, was fantastic and very helpful. She explained everything in detail and shared great tips to make our stay even better

The property was beautiful! The balcony has a gorgeous view of the lake and the location is quiet and private. The apartment is very pretty, had plenty of amenities, and was extremely comfortable. The hostess was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We had a fantastic time!

Location was nice and quiet, with great views. Nice overall location/town if you're wanting to relax and feel like a local. Walking distance to a few nice restaurants and cafes. Very nice host.

The couch could've been more comfortable and the internet was very slow.
