Home Sweet Apartments

The location was very good - very near the metro, lots of restaurants near by, good places to get breakfast, and stores. We could go everywhere on foot. It is a little uphill from the main Avenue, but just a few minutes walk. The apartment was clean and the host was very responsive and helpful.

While the apartment had more or less everything you need, there are a few downsides. First, the bunk beds in the "kids" room should be better - better mattresses and better bed construction. In the main bedroom, there is no closet space, just some hangers. The kitchen has what you need, but very basic. The bathroom is functional but small. Finally, we had some trouble with the electricity - it was a bit cold so we turned on the two oil heaters that were provided - this occasionally caused the electricity to fall out. It was easy to fix, but it happened several times.

Location was great. Everything was very clean. Views were lovely. Host seemed really nice.

Unfortunately the shower did not work on the first night and no compensation was offered to ammend this issue. Guy did come round and said it must have been turned off. We arrived and it was pouring with rain and really cold. Had to spend the entire first day of our holiday sitting in damp clothing with soaking wet hair and then eventually have a freezing cold shower at like 11pm at night. Put a literal dampner on the entire day haha and ended up having to stay in all evening. Bed also really uncomfortable. A bit tight for 4 guests in terms of livingroom furniture.

Pretty well-equipped kitchen, and we cooked often. We liked our stay. The bathroom was also okay. We liked it.

If I had to find something to complain about I would note that the stairs are narrow, the door handle was broken in the bedroom, the top floor bedroom has a low inner height but okay for shorter people (I'm 1.97m high, and I couldn't stand up, but the others could.) I am listing these just to get a better description of the apartment, I am not complaining, these things didn't bother any of us during our stay. What was missed though were some shelves for our clothes, but given the size of the apartment I understand why they didn't squeeze them in there, but they had a clothing rack.

very good location. everything was in walking distance. apartments was amazing, clean. host was very helpful.

Descent apartment good for a couple with kids. Air conditionning in living room. Close to subway station.

Street access by car is not convenient. Stairway to access apartment pretty narrow and steep. (We had a baby to carry up and down with stroller).

the beds not so good, the hot water are not for 5 pepole,you have to wait for hot water.
