Home Sweet Apartments

Our host was very accommodating with our early arrival and allowed us to store our luggage until the apartment was ready. It was ready early and he provided our family of 5 free transport from the office. Much appreciated after 14 hours of travel from Canada! The apartment has great style but beware there are lots of stairs if you have any mobility challenges! The beds were quite firm. We loved the location for being very quiet yet an easy 5 min walk into the heart of the city and metro stations.

The location was good and within easy walking distance from buses, metro, and shops.

There is no handrail leading up the main stairway to the apartment. the treads of the steps are very narrow and actually very dangerous hence my comment that it would not be family friendly for small children. Also for 3 women - 1 of whom is in her 70's- it was very difficult to carry suitcases up such narrow, steep steps. Also there were no wine glasses in the apartment - such a pity having to drink delicious Portuguese wine from thick juice glasses.

Very good location, easy access and check in.

The bathroom is too small. Despite low consumption, the electrical switch/fuse switched off twice by itself, but we easily switched on from the main box.
