"Comfy and decent location"

Margarida was a super host with lots of good info about transit, Lisbon and Portugal in general. Excellent tapas restaurant below ( Sacco )

Hall sensor light flickers then goes out when entering in evening and you need a flashlight for the stairs

"Very good value for money with location being the main advantage"

9.0

Excellent location, close to the city center (walking some 20 min max) but at the same time relatively quiet area. For ones who prefer public transport, no problem - everything within 2-3min. Nice park, local restaurants with reasonable pricing and tasty menu (Ortónimo my favorite), 2 supermarkets nearby with great selection if you prefer to save on food. The property has fully equipped kitchen so you can bake, fry, toast. Washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, large fridge with freezer, full set of cutlery, good size wardrobe, comfortable beds - this is a living place not a hotel room. Very helpful host, answered all the questions.

No air-conditioning but not to blame the property as this seems to be the usual setup in Lisbon (not sure about Portugal). Could become very hot especially in August so they have provided 2 large fans which help to certain extend. This is a nicely renovated apartment in contrast to the old building with steep stairs (watch your foot while climbing) and the back street (takes some time to get used to but nothing serious).
