The Residences at Bairro Alto

It was huge, perfect for a family of 6. The neighbourhood was brilliant, full of restaurants, cafés, and beauty. Nevertheless, quiet and peaceful. Oh, really appreciated the washing machine!

Just a liiittle bit bare-bones (no doors on the wardrobes etc.; all good, but why not?).

The apartment was super cheap, the host was extremely kind and everything we could ask for was there. Amazing value for money and we had an amazing stay :)

The location was very good, it had fans to try to keep the place cool, the bedsheets seemed clean. The check-in was very smooth and the people in the reception were very nice. They also allowed us to leave the bags before and after the stay. It has big windows and light on the living room.

The flat clearly requires improvements. Most of the plugs are failing out of the wall, the walls have wholes and cracks, there's mould stains in the ceiling of the kitchen, and also a nasty mould smell. We rented the place for 9 people, there were 8 towels, 7 plates, 6 mugs, etc. So it seems that it was not prepared at all for their full capacity of the apartment. Seems it was prepared for rental a few years ago, and never ever maintained. Also, a small water boiler for 9 people means 3 people take a warm shower and the rest take a cold shower. Also, there were cockroaches. We counted 6. Which made me a bit worried about bringing bugs back home, and I basically needed to leave my luggage outside until I washed everything. It also together with the cracks on the wall and mouldy smell in the kitchen gives a very bad look to the flat. There were even a cockroach in the fridge which led us to throw out anything that was open right after we bought it. Also there's just 1 toilet for the full flat.

It's a walking distance from alot off shops and stores.

Not clean with a wired sent. small cockroches in the fridge. Walls is full off humidity. I paid €200 for few hours before leaving at 4am to the airport. Not worthit at all to be at 8.6 rating.
