The Residences at Bairro Alto

Spacious, airy, light, clean, comfortable. Artworks. Everything we needed and wanted. Staff were excellent, so helpful and friendly. Fabulous location.

The stairs and stairwell from the street up are dingy and don't equal the apartment. Needs a paint and TLC for the old wooden steps. We didn't need it but note that bedroom is tiny- just big enough for a bunk bed and perfect for young children, not sure about adults.

We loved the delightful flat in such a wonderful part of town. The host was fantastic, generous and helpful. He gave us plenty of recommendations for where to go and what to see and was so welcoming.

Fans were helpful in the bedrooms, but air con would have been better

The location is central. I read from a review that the host is near the apartment. Otherwise, I wouldn't know. Price-wise, it was excellent, as we booked at the last minute, and the price was lower than usual. I did not read correctly that 2 rooms have bunk beds, which is inconvenient. Fortunately, we can use the sofa bed as well.

There is only 1 bathroom/WC for 3 bedrooms. Construction is in front of the premises, so it is noisy during the day.
