Lisbon, Stylish & Central 2-Bedroom Apartment on Rua Augusta

Loved the location , in the old section of town . the building has charm yet interior is renovated in the modern way. Cosy yet still comfortable. View off living room is gorgeous. Also Loved the balcony .

Shelves next to bed was leaning . Nothing was staying on it. Not a big deal but kind of annoying.

The apartment itself is lovely and the location is right in the middle of the city, great for 2-3 nights, but if staying longer, it’s probably not ideal as it’s the center of the tourist zone and kind of chaotic.

There was no soap or shampoo, zero extras. The check in process was awkward because you have to guess when you will arrive to meet the person. On the last day the code to the entry door didn’t work and we were stuck outside in the rain for a half hour before a neighbor let us in. The hosts said they didn’t have a key, only the code, so they couldn’t help.

Location of this place was absolutely the best: that is if you want to be in the middle of it all. I loved just walking right into the street with all the restaurants, entertainers, walking close to all the activities and locations. The balcony is small but the view is unbelievable. You feel like you are in the middle of a movie set! The kitchen was functional, but the washing machine was a must for us. It was nice to have two bathrooms and two bedrooms. It was nice to have an elevator. While in the middle of the city, you felt very safe. The pictures look exactly like the place! The location is close to a lof of places. You can walk to almost everywhere!

The bathroom in the master is inside the bedroom, but with glass closure. It stays steamy with poor ventilation. I personally don't like seeing my spouse sitting on the toilet as I am getting dressed! There are no shampoo or toiletries. Also there were very few toilet paper rolls, we ended up buying some for our 5 day stay. There are no hooks to hang the towels. People have mentioned that before but I don't think the owners care to remedy the situation. The check is was a bit tricky: They ask you when you get in, we got there but there was no one to greet us. Instead we had to call them to tell them we were there. They showed up shortly, but it was not very clear.

Was 10 mins late due to flight delay and was chatged the €25 which we felt was harsh as I had informed him where we were at all times. Was given the wrong code for the door which was included in the 10 mins late

Greast communication. Host was easy to contact. He was there to personally hand you the keys
