Great location, clean and easy access.

Location was good. Apartment has potential, but is not yet well-prepared to host guests.

In order to enter the building and, separately, the apartment, you must have access to cellular service. I was not traveling with an international calling plan, and had no warning about the need for connectivity to enter the building and the apartment until I arrived late at night. I had to access a calling plan on the dark street, call the hosts, and then had to have them unlock the doors remotely. The electronic lock on the apartment door was very "sticky", aka not working properly/easily. Once in, there are physical keys for both doors. There is a dangerous situation with the building door though - you must have the physical key in hand to exit the building - what would happen in case of fire? We thought that with the door issue resolved, we would enjoy our stay. However, after running a small, short load of laundry the second evening, the bathroom shower and sink overflowed with sewage. Evidently, the drain system could not handle the washing. There was a lot of back and forth with the hosts about plumbing service appointments before, late in the afternoon of the following day, they finally offered us a transfer to a different apartment. In the meantime, we had no access to bathroom facilities! The new apartment was a welcome change with a fully functioning electronic lock and bathroom. Too bad the hosts put us through so much stress with an apartment that is clearly not well prepared for guests.

The location is great. Lots of attractions and restaurants nearby.

1. The remote electronic lock to the apartment doesn't work stable - it can work or can be stuck. We spent more than half an hour trying to open it according to the instruction. They have the keys inside - use them, not relying on electronic lock 2. Support doesn't know their appartments properly and it's actual location/building, they were not able to help us by phone. Once they almost came to help us, the door suddenly opened :) 3. We booked for (and even registered) 4 guests - 2 adults and 2 kids, but received only 3 linen and 3 blankets :( 4. The apartment: is very small, windows are to the walls - you can't even understand the weather outside, and it has no very simple things like tea or coffee, which is very weird for such a price. Just add 2-3 EUR per night and add several bags of it - your guests will be much happier 5. Wi-fi password given in the instruction doesn't work - it was confusing. But we found the right one on the access-point box.

Very clean and comfortable. They provided all necessary for our stay and were always attentive to our questions and requests. The apartment was very nice and clean. The location was excellent, just a few steps from metro station and Atocha train's station.
