Location, communication, air-conditioning, had character

Great location and the stafff was attentive to our needs. The rooms were nice.

We were 4 adults and the bedroom was upstairs and hard to bring up suitcases. The sofa bed was alright but the sheets provided for that were not sufficient for two.

To my surprise I got 4 fine ticket for each day. The owner forgot to tell that you can even drop off the luggage on a 2 km radios And offcurce the sign were in Italian. If you come with a car and children forgot about this location.

Very nice little appartment in a sassi, including breakfast, at a perfect location for visiting Matera. Thank you very much for the advice for free parking. Excellent stay overall.

Location is close to the town square and it was a good jumping off point for walking around Matera. We really enjoyed the whole city and were so glad we visited. The property was nice and clean. We were able to find parking at a parking garage 400m away that was 10 Euros a day. The pictures are accurate. My girls enjoyed the breakfast.

There was a bit of a mix up with using WhatsApp to get directions on how to enter the property. In two different messages I stated my WhatsApp number was different than what is listed through Booking.com and gave the other number. (My WhatsApp and actual phone number are different from each other). The directions were still sent to the wrong WhatsApp. But the host was very responsive when I still hadn't received the directions and we were standing in front of the property.

Everything was perfectly managed, very clean and so friendly staff ( Gianni ). Gianni is the owner of property and he managed everything for us! Thanks buddy!

Location was awesome; right in old town. The apartment was unique, clean and cute.

Shower was small, the upstairs bedroom had a curved ceiling so the only place we could stand up was in the middle of the room (5’9” and 5’6”), staircase getting to second floor was steep, narrow and also had a curved wall. Breakfast consisted of packaged toast, jams and packaged muffins. The apartment was hard to find as you could not drive up to it (we were lucky to find a paid parking space about a quarter mile away). I would recommend a larger sign on the building or include a map with the pictures of the apartment.

An excellent spot in town, close to the main touristic sites and to the parking on the ringe around town.

Breakfast was quiete poor.
