Oxfordshire Living - The Alice Apartment - Oxford

The apartment was lovely, it had everything we needed and was really comfortable and a 2 minute walk to the main centre

Location of the rental is perfect, right beside Oxford Castle Hill, close to the high street and right across the street from a major shopping mall/complex. Note, the unit is right above a bar/restaurant. Multiple grocery stores close by, and a simple approximate 15 minute walk from the train station. We'd stay here again. Both us and our daughter loved the double balconies, we loved the facilities (kitchen included EVERYTHING needed for a stay). Multiple tablets for dish washer, kitchen was fully stocked and equipped. Building includes an elevator. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

A note, that this has one side (window and balcony) on a busy street, the second (second balcony and bedroom) faces the other side. The unit is right above a bar/restaurant - one night was fairly loud, one was quiet.

Spacious, clean, location

On top of spoons, didn’t bother us, but maybe a more mature couple, wouldn’t appreciate the late evening sounds

Very clean and modern and well equipped. Bed and sofa very comfortable. Everything within walking distance.

It is situated immediately above a busy and noisy JD Weatherspoons pub. We stayed on Thursday and Friday nights and it was noisy both nights until after midnight. We had read the reviews so we’re aware of this but it was worse than we expected ( wore ear plugs on the second night.

It was noisy downstairs from the bar. But I had earplug so it was okay.
