Excellent apartment complex and pool

The weather!

Two bedroom apartment with large living/dining area and two good size bedrooms with ensuite. Set in nice grounds, low level apartment block in more residential than tourist area. Streetside balcony and great pool at rear. Some nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Short stroll to beach.

Balcony doors do not lock although wasn't a problem once we were told about the roller door shutters that are also on the windows. Beds were pretty hard and could do with some extra padding. A little more attention to detail with the fittings would give this a more luxurious feel.

Unfortunately the pool was closed when we went - it was in the small print but as one of my requirements when booking this apartment still came up …. No offer of any refund. Also there we were without hot water for over 24 hours …. Again no compensation was given. The 1st issue I think booking.com should be responsible for. The 2nd whilst the owner is not directly responsible they should take some responsibility…… a goodwill gesture I would suggest. Also don’t use their suggested airport transport - rip off ! Use BOLT app (like Uber) … fabulous taxi service including transporting bikes !

The apartment is spacious and clean. The view of the ocean is beautiful and on the backside a pretty view of the pool. large rooms, large kitchen. It felt like a home. Close to the train station and beaches.

The beds were a bit too firm.
