CasaMamy Pompei

The location was superb, it was just few minutes walk from the ruins (200m from the Anfiteatro entrance) and right behind the Santuario (Pompeii’s Cathedral) and there were some very good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Alessandro, the host, was very helpful and recommended some really nice restaurants (Garum restaurant was superb) He also has a bar below the apartment which was a very good place to call in for a drink and ask for his advice.

This is a spacious apartment with two large bedrooms with two bathrooms. Shops, cafés, restaurants, and Pompeii Central train station are all within easy walking distance.

The beds were a little harder than I would have preferred.

La casa e' pulitissima ed Alessandro e' stragentile. Ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni di cui avevamo bisogno. La location e' dietro il Santuario del Santo Rosario e molto comodo se uno vuole visitare Pompei. Torneremo di sicuro.

Alessandro met us, welcomed us into his lounge bar and we enjoyed a drink whilst we waited for our room. He was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent and the property was very spacious.

It was basic, but perfect for a few night when you need a convenient place to stay.
