CasaMamy Pompei

Location was excellent, a ten minute walk to the Pompei ruins and a couple of minutes from the station called “Pompei Sanctuario”. Apartment had air conditioning and was very spacious and inviting with en-suite in main bedroom. Kitchen well equipped with expected appliances. TVs in both bedrooms. Host Alessandro was an excellent communicator who was very hospitable and gave good suggestions for eating out. He works in a cafe next door and is always on hand. He treated us to some coffee on arrival so we felt right at home. Thanks Alessandro! Travelling note: Pompei Sanctuario is not the main Pompei station, it’s more like a branch line but you can get to the airport by stopping at Naples Garibaldi and getting a bus. There is a connection to Naples Centrale from this station but it is not direct. If you need a direct and quicker connection to Naples Centrale you would have to use the main station “Pompei Scavi” which is direct and is about 30 minutes walk from the apartment.

Not a lot! Apartment was a bit short on some kitchen utensils, eg. chopping board and some crockery. Road around the apartment was sometimes a bit noisy. Absolutely nothing major.

Great location

We were a group of 6 friends for 5 nights. Alexandra is a great host, very friendly, helpful in everything. A big advantage is the transfer from the airport. After the flight, the host invited us to his cafe, which he runs. Accommodation is on the 2nd floor of an older house. The apartment is after reconstruction. It has 2 bedrooms + a living room with a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. It is ideally located for visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Capri, Sorrento, Naples. We will definitely use Casa Mamy's accommodation on our next visit. Alexandra, thank you once again for everything. René Czech republiku

Lovely spacious apartment in a fantastic central location. The host was so helpful and gave us help with travel around the area as well as recommending some great places to eat. All in all great value for money and I highly recommend it.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a very cosy and large apartment, we immediately felt at home there. It is in the middle of Pompei, very close to the excavations, restaurants, the bus to Vesuvio, to the train. Our host was very kind and helpful. I can only recommend the place.

Super, breakfast in Alessandros' bar in the groundfloor. Location next to the cathedral. Parking 2 min. and Pompeii 5 min.

Location was perfect for visiting Pompeii ruins and town! Communication and help from staff was the best!

It was all good!

We were well looked after by a great host. Location is perfect for sightseeing in Pompei and couldn't ask for more.

Alessandro was an excellent host and always willing to assist us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend anyone planning a visit to Pompeii consider booking CasaMamy. The location is fantastic!

The only downside was running out of hot water for showers, which could have been caused by our large group staying at CasaMamy. However, Alessandro had the issue fixed, so it didn't happen again.
