The host has been super helpful. They helped us with the transport , general guidance of Pompei and also with our luggage after check out. The apartment is nice and comfortable for a family stay. There tons of options for food nearby. The apartment is like 3 mins walk from the centre and 5 to 7 mins from one of the gates of Pompei ruins. All in all it was super comfortable stay. Recommended!

The host was absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend CasaMamy for your stay. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. The host has his own coffee/Bar right down stairs. The Cappuccino's are fantastic. Very close to Metro and only a 15 minute walk to Pompei Ruins. Also right next to the square with shops and restaurants.

Hard to say anything bad about this place. The only tiny complaint was that the mattresses were a not very comfortable. But would stay here again.

Communication with Alessandro was good. The rooms were spacious. We used the kitchen and it was convenient. The area was right in the heart of Pompei.

My Granddaughter and I stayed two nights at the beginning of April, 2023. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 4 story building (in US terms that's the third floor) up a long bunch of stairs, but Alessandro met us in his coffee shop (in the ground floor of the building) and carried most of our luggage up for us! The apartment is about 50 yards from the Pompeii Sanctuario train station (note there are THREE stations in Pompeii and this is the farthest from the main entry where guided tours start but is a couple hundred yards from another entrance near the ampthitheatre) The Sanctuario station is NOT on the same train line as the other two stations--be certain you are asking for tickets to the right station! We selected this apartment because we could visit Herculaneum on day one (where there is NO--NADA)place to store bags and we could visit Pompeii on day 2 while Alessandro stored our bags in his coffee shop, close to the station. Also because the train line from "Sanctuario" carries us to the north end of Herculaneum--close to the ruins--versus the other line that stops much farther away. The apartment is not flashy but is fine--the rooms are large, the beds are real (not sofa beds) and comfortable, there is plenty of light, lots of plugs, plenty of hot water, well-equipped kitchen. It's quiet, WIFI is fast. We didn't use AC or heat. They do not have completely dark shades but the rooms were dark enough to allow us to sleep in the morning. Some places only have sheer curtains that give no privacy and don't block the sunlight. The location is quiet and located very near the main "real people" shopping street and there is a grocery store around the corner. Alessandro recommended a seafood restaurant that served us (San Francisco dwellers) one of the best meals we've ever had--ask him for his "friend" discount coupon.

The apartment met all our expectations.

The apartment is in the most perfect location! We were able to park our car and not have to use it the entire time we were at our location. Alessandro had a friend who owns a parking lot and we were able to park safely in the lot for our stay, for a fee. Out the door is a beautiful church and park, around the corner and down the street is the entrance to Pompeii. There are plenty of restaurants right out the door. The owner, Alessandro, also owns a little shop downstairs and we went there for our morning coffee and croissant. I really can't say enough about the perfect location and the friendliness of Alessandro!

There really is anything to complain about but my only issue was the bed. It was not a very comfortable bed for me. It might be fine for others.

a really friendly welcome from Alessandro, and a great apartment! Just five minutes walk from the Archaeological Park, and one minute from restaurants, bars, shops etc. The apartment was spacious, beautiful, comfortable and well equipped, and we loved it. Alessandro was so helpful with sorting out parking and restaurant recommendations (St Trop pizza- excellent!).

Not enough toilet paper for 8 people, 4 nights. Missing napkins and the supplied kitchen towels (for cleaning dirty dishes) weren’t the best.

Lovely spacious apartment with 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge/dining area and kitchen. The location was fantastic with train stations in walking distance. From the moment we booked Alessandro was amazing with his communication and very helpful and happy to answer any questions we had. Our flight got cancelled and we were very lucky to be able to stay an extra night and have a taxi arranged for us early in the morning, nothing was too much trouble. Alessandro also runs the cafe under the apartment which is great for fresh pastries for breakfast. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much for a great stay.
