Lovely place excellent value and we were helped with transport both for arrival and to the airport for our journey home

It's a really cozy place with nice people. The hosts were very kind and hospitable to us.

We loved the place, it's family run and has a very welcoming feel to it. The whole family was very attentive and would get out of their way to accommodate you. The place is beautiful and the food was magnificent. They cook for you on the night and everything is fresh and wonderful. Plenty to drink and they really were super generous.

The location is very isolated, you wouldn't get anywhere as a family without a taxi.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The rooms are large and have good air conditioning. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. They are very welcoming and gave us free drinks on arrival and helped with a taxi to the airport when we left. Its reasonably close to Pompeii and Herculaneum, roads are narrow and busy. Car is essential.

The pool area is open to non-residents and the small pool gets very, very busy with local youths. They are extremely noisy and divebomb the pool constantly, we felt uncomfortable. Of course you tend to stay here when you're going to be out sightseeing most of the day but we did not feel this venue was a nice place to relax.

Villa Aurelia is a little gem. It's family run and has a wonderful family atmosphere. We loved the room and the pool but the extra special touch is the family. Aurelia, Simone and Lucia are so welcoming and caring you could not ask for more. Simone insisted on driving us to the station to get the train to Naples rather than us trying to park. We ate at the Villa a couple of nights in our week long stay - all cooked by Aurelia, the most wonderful authentic Italian food and deserts and sweet treats made by Lucia. The accommodation is lovely, big rooms and nicely decorated. The pool is a treat and the gardens are lovely. The location is good for getting out and about. Within 10 mins drive of ancient Pompeii, 30 mins of Herculaneum and 40 mins of Naples but as others have said you do need a car to make the most of it. (We hired a car at Naples Centrale station but now know we could have hired one in Pompeii which would've been better). And of course you have views of Vesvius from the site. We can't wait to go back!

The property was beautiful and very well kept. The apt was very nice. We were able to do our laundry and hang outside. The private patio was very nice. My son enjoyed petting the dogs! They were so cute. The hosts were very nice.

We were there for 4 days and every day there was a crowd that showed up to use the pool. It was a little noisy and the kids in their group definitely were enjoying the diving board. We were out during the day so it didn’t affect us too much. The one day we just waited till the pool quieted down before swimming… unfortunately for us the breeze and cool pool were too cold in the evening. Didn’t stop my son from swimming and talking with the other boys, even though there was a language barrier. The street is a very narrow street but if you’re driving most streets are.
