Villa Aurelia Pompei

Our apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The landscaping and in-ground pool are gorgeous. And the family who runs the Villa Aurelia (Aurelia and her husband, along with their grown children and their spouses), are the kindest and most generous hosts we've ever met. We highly recommend staying here!

The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. They accommodated our requests for everything including evening meals very flexibly. The home made food was fantastic, in both terms of quality, quantity and price. Definitely stay here again if we need to in the future.

Pool got a bit busy sometimes with non residents, but we were out most of the day and so it wasn’t too much of a nuisance.

Amazing staff/hospitality/family vibe. Simon was very welcoming and helpful, the kids loved him. It was Simon's son's 2nd birthday and we even got a piece of birthday cake. Ask the kids what was the best part of the whole trip? Simon and his villa is always the first answer. Rooms were massive and clean, and well equipped throughout. Totally exceeded expectations and highly recommended to all.

Nothing to do with the stay/villa itself, but the roads leading up to the villa were very narrow - not a problem once you get used to navigating through it.

Nice appartament , very clean , very owners, morning espresso served , responsive and helpful!

The swimming pool was available for everyone from the village , very busy , hard music , not so nice if you look for some rest.

Lovely, relaxed family style hospitality. Very easy to get to Pompei archaeological site. Lovely pool with Mt Vesuvius as a backdrop.

It is a fantastic place, beautiful and with spacious apartments. The owner family is so friendly and service-minded. You really get the feeling that they care about you, and they gladly help you with everything! Our boys loved the pool and all the animals. We can highly recommend this place and would like to come back!

The location is a bit challenging if you don’t have a car - but the owner family is happy to help you with transportation anytime and everywhere! The pool area is fantastic, but it was a bit crowded and loud during the weekdays, when many young locals came to the premises. The weekend was much nicer.

It was one of my best stay over many years of traveling in Italy. The family are excellent hostess. Special thanks to Aurelia for her generosity and great cooking and Simon for always being there to provide us his car services. We were treated like part of the family. I would stay there in the future travel and highly recommend it.

We were welcomed heartily by Simon and family to their guesthouse. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a huge terrace and great views. The pool and gardens are beautiful, and the family work hard to keep it this way. The whole place has a friendly, family feel and is an oasis of calm away from the chaos around Pompeii ruins. Highly recommend a stay here.
