The Yew Studio - Self contained one bed studio flat with parking

Great location close to JR hospital. Clean and well-presented with all of the necessary facilities, including parking space, en-suite etc. Very fair and reasonable price - would stay here again.

Heating was on a timer with no thermostat. It was rather difficult to keep the temperature at a good level.

Yew Studio in Oxford exceeded all my expectations. Although it’s technically a flat rather than a hotel, I didn’t miss a single thing in terms of facilities, comfort, or location. It was a delightful and unexpected surprise. I booked it last minute due to a lack of hotel availability in the city, and I wasn’t expecting much. However, from the very first moment, Yew Studio managed to impress me. I was promptly contacted by the owners via email, and the access details were delivered with impeccable clarity, ensuring a seamless arrival. The studio itself is as comfortable as a hotel room but comes with added convenience. It has everything you could possibly need for a short stay, including a microwave, cutlery, and even an ironing board. I probably missed a small kitchen facility, but enjoyed the local take away delicacies instead. The entire space is spotless, with well-maintained furniture and a bathroom that deserves special mention—its shower was immaculate and a true highlight. Every little detail of the studio reflected care and attention, making the stay even more enjoyable. Yew Studio has now become one of my favorite places to stay in Oxford, and I’ll undoubtedly be returning soon.

A small kitchen facility would have been a bonus, but to be honest, that is unnecessary for a short stay.

Super close to the JR hospital, which was our purpose. Very clean, nice addition to have tea and coffee provided. Instructions to access the property were very clear. Excellent value and owners were responsive

It would have been nice to have provided some mini toiletries for visitors. There was shower gel but no toothpaste/shampoo. The flat was also freezing despite attempts to heat it and we were very cold as it was snowy and icy outside and not much better inside. The heaters are powerful but don’t heat the whole room just the air above it, and have a time limit. Some extra duvets in the winter would be a good addition.
