The Yew Studio - Self contained one bed studio flat with parking

The room was exactly as shown in the photos, and the customer service was very nice and friendly. The room was clean, and whenever we needed anything extra, it was provided promptly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

the tv was not working properly. it was on Radio mode all the time.

Very quiet, nice safe location. Check in and out really easy and good clear information given. Bed Temperature comfortable.

Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired and the shower door doesn't close properly leaving leaks on the floor. This wasn't a problem as I had enough towels but if had been with my husband there wouldn't have been a shower mat to step out on and soak up the leaked water. Sink is cracked (but it is surface damage); desk is chipped. It was a bit dusty in places but overall clean. Only one pillow per person which was okay because I was travelling solo so could sleep with both.

Keys were in a keysafe right by the flat door. This made it really easy to get them, making check in easy. Hosts were lovely. Definitely recommend this property & hosts. If I have to come to Oxford again I would definitely consider staying here if the property was available.

lack of kitchen facilities lack of soap in any containers - cleaning up plates etc in a tiny bathroom basin and only one tea towel meant mess in the bathroom. The owner then accused me of wrecking her towels.

Ease of check in and location

Towels small and rough, dont call a combi oven sufficient to warrant it as a "studio"

Bed was comfortable. The location was quiet. Easy access with clear instructions. Bathroom was fine.

Not much in the way of cooking facilities and washing up was done in the bathroom sink.

Location is close to shops for groceries. It is not too far from the colleges in central Oxford a pleasant 40 min walk. Good shower.

Foam on mattress on bed, uncomfortable in warm weather. Disappointing response from owner when contacted regarding a problem. Very limited crockery and utensils, thereby limiting microwave/oven use.
