Modern Apartment in the Heart of Oxford with Secure Underground Parking

It’s clean and well-maintained. Location is perfect - a few minutes by the river and a few minutes by the mall.

The apartment was easy to find, just across from the Head of the River pub. It is a simple walk up the main street to the heart of college town and not far from the shops too.

The flat was not easily accessible. It was difficult to carry our baby’s pram up the floors and through the tiny lift.

Location was excellent. Everything in walking distance while being just far enough from the centre to be uncrowded, and right next to the river. The only downside was being next to the ring road which meant traffic noise. The bathtowels were my favourite: thick, crisp, and huge! Just right for alternative use as a light blanket on warm nights or for a nap. Communication from hosts was prompt, friendly and useful,before and during the stay. Excellent pre arrival instructions. Creative and funny positioning of the lockbox. I’m not sure if the microwave was a positive or negative: Superior power and sophistication, but the user interface took a bit of figuring out.

It was dark. In particular the bedroom, partly because the blind fastening for the main window was broken and it wasn’t possible to keep it up. Bedroom light also weak. You had to use the bedside lamps to get light even in daytime. A coffee table would have been handy.

It was very clean and central - also liked the bath towels nice and big!!
