Loddey's Self Catering Apartments - by Beach Collection

I loved the view as it was a ground floor facing the sea.

There are braai facilities but no braai utensils in the apartment. Please look into the name that's being advertised , because it took me to the guest house Loddey's. The name of the self-catering is falling under the hotel, Beachfront Apartment Strand. if you own a room at the hotel, you need to declare on the advertisement.

The location was great and the entrance and the building itself

The apartment was dark and didn't look at all as per the pics on the webpage, it was on the ground floor, we got fine for apparently talking too loud, the facilities in the flat didn't work, the washline in the bedroom is a no no and was not very functional, the kettle leaked, we had 3 teaspoons the TV was making a zinking sound and the decoder was placed lopsided on top of the TV, instead of there being just a shelf for it. The furniture was int he lounge/ dining room all steal and gave the place a cold look, the door to go onto the balcony didn't close properly and we then didn't open it again.

The place was wonderful — a ground-floor unit with a lovely view of the sea. It was well equipped with everything we needed, making our stay very comfortable. From the moment we walked in, the apartment smelled amazing, and the freshness carried throughout the space. The bedrooms were spacious and nicely set up, and we appreciated the little extras like a hairdryer and DSTV for entertainment. Overall, a really great stay!

The Venue was clean. It is a good place for the family. We enjoyed the stay and the sea view from the apartment. We will make use of this venue again.

The Dstv signal was bad before the springbok game.

Good location. Easy to get in. Comfortable apartment. Value for money considering the great location and view.

I would say the apartment could do with a coat of paint and some touch ups. Shower does not drain properly and lights in the main bedroom's bathroom are not working well. Lots of dust in the second bedroom.
