Havisham Studio Flat Rochester ME1 1XZ

Good position for visiting historic Rochester and very close to the station (with fast trains taking you to central London in just over 30 mins.) The apartment was very clean with some very nice touches. In the kitchen we only used the kettle and toaster, both of which were in excellent condition. The wi-fi and TV (SKY Glass) worked well.

One or two little maintenance jobs need doing (e.g.the way the Yale lock had been mounted...) However, the only little problems are due to the fact you are in Victorian building, so we accepted them as part of the charm of being in England!

Lovely little apartment. Only had one night stay but was perfect for what we needed ,close to train station and town. Had everything we needed ,the fan came in very handy as was so hot .Nice to have a bath not just a shower .Would deffenetly stay here again and recommend.

Nothing springs to mind

Property owner never sent me the access code to enter the apartment. I was unable to contact her via email, the booking.com app, or by phone. I was forced to find other accommodations even though I had already paid for this apartment. When I got home over a month ago, I emailed the property owner to request a refund. Do date I have not had a response from her. In my extensive travels, I have never had a problem such as this. I am very disappointed.

This property is hardly available so when it was, I was so happy to get a local retreat away from my home which is under renovation’s. Lovely peaceful and quiet apartment. Well worth the money 10 Gold Stars 🥰

Nothing every thing in all perfect working order

The flat was in the perfect location . 8 mins walk from Rochester historic town. Very quiet location. I will definitely stay there again. Fantastic value for money. A

If I have to find anything wrong. Mmmmm . If there is a light bulb in the porch between fire door and flat door.

I liked the proximity to town, station etc. I liked the fast WiFi and very good media TV available. I liked that when the host realised that the listed fan was not available they provided a fan th3 following day.

The spring mattresses was uncomfortable. The messy front area in the street and downstairs was full of rubbish and the building itself has an acrid smell of mould. I did not appreciate the lack of deep clean; the cutlery was not well cleaned, there were bits of plastic and tissue down the side of the bed, mould growing in the oil that had been left in the cupboard. Had I been visiting for pleasure I'd have gone elsewhere, for work, as I was out and only there for sleeping I decided to stay, but cannot recommend and will not be returning.
